Description

Zahabiya Soft Seal Special ZSP-1191 is an acrylic based, copolymeric, high strength mastic/ adhesive caulking sealant forming a soft gasket seal on self-curing, designed to meet a variety of glazing/ caulking needs for interior/ exterior use. For most applications where a non-sticky, vapour barrier, air/ gas tight, water/ oil proof, weather resistant fast drying non-cracking and well-bonded protective, leakage free seal is desirable, this product is the perfect answer. This is the best and safe replacement of traditional toxic silicon sealants & can be used in enclosed environment without emitting any bad odour or toxic fumes. The product is safe in handling and use, being a “Human Friendly / Environmentally Acceptable”

Procedure

  • Remove all loose dust, sand and cement particles at the application site, mechanically or manually.
  • Wash the cleaned area with potable water and dry the surface thoroughly.
  • Apply by brush Zahabiya Soft Seal Special ZSP-1191 as the Primer coat, diluted and well mixed with 30% potable water or preferably with 20% liquor ammonia all around the cracked joint surfaces up to existing depth.
  • Compactly fill in the cracks with Zahabiya Soft Seal Special ZSP-1191 (pure) either by means of scraper or cartridge.
  • The surface can be commissioned after 2 days drying.
  • If repainting is desired, the crack can be painted over by Zahabiya Water Shield ZSAC-10/55 (preferably) or any emulsion paint.
